Fenway Park Goes Green(er)

Cool article on the NRDC site about Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox becoming the greenest stadium in the nation. They are in the second year of a 5 year plan with the NRDC which includes using energy from renewable sources, keeping 40% of their garbage from ending in landfills and installing solar panels. Fenway will still generate a great deal of waste, but it's a huge move in the right direction and my hope is that they will have plenty of signage so that attendees can learn about their choices. If you're a sox fan, do me a favor and ask someone about this next time you are there. And if they don't have signage, ask them to put some up.
